The menu is lovely and they have extras daily which the staff explain to you . When we visited they had fresh sea bass for 2 , it was brought to the table to be deboned and the taste was amazing . Others in our party had pasta and pizza which was lovely . The tiramisu is amazing - we had to share one because it is a generous portion . The restaurant does not look big from the outside but it has quite a lot of tables when you get in . If you go early you could get a table but if you want to eat later book as when we came out people were queuing to get in ,

We had eaten aLOT of pizza and wanted something different for our last night. Food was fab, service was great, and the home brewed “liquor” was so much fun! Lots of banter from the staff - great night. Don’t be put off by the unlikely surroundings in the walk from the metro - well worth it! Fun shop next door which is a tobacconist/ bar/ sweetie shop/ sandwich shop in case you arrive before they open!

It’s nothing special to visit it’s a cheep street food. We made the mistake to visit it as the number one in Rome and we disappointed.

In English:

We are so sorry that your experience was not positive, if you had expressed your doubts during your dinner, we would certainly do something to explain that in Italy, the "Arrosticino" is more than a "cheap street food" as you define, but a real piece of popular culture, a typical Abruzzese food, and from late 1800s, has preserved its simplicity and purity over the centuries. And just like all simple popular dishes, it is absolutely complicated to reproduce faithfully ... starting from the choice of the sheep type, then the cuts of meat, the percentage of fat for the aroma, the cooking on the typical "fornacella" abruzzese ..
This is the best way to tackle the problem.

It would be a bit as if we call the "Moussaka", perhaps the most typical dish in your country, "a Parmigiana imitation" it would certainly be limiting.
If you come back again in Italy, and you’ll want to come back to Rome, we will be glad to have you back at our tables.

I was invited by some Italian colleagues, the whole experience is awesome; we began ordering l’antipasti, everything was so tasty and unique, the mix of charcuterie and cheese open the evening, afterwards the “arrosticini”(skewers,), delicious flavor, you should try the truffle and the liver.
A fine Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine that accompanied our dinner.

At the end the most amazing Tiramisu I’ve ever tried.
Definitely it becomes one of my favorites and a must go in Rome.
