We have been going to this place since 1990’s. The pizzas are one of the best in town, thin, crispy and tasty. Be sure to head there just after they open at 18.30, after that you need to wait for a table. This time we had a younger waiter, who was friendly. The service in this restaurant is pretty average but I think it’s a part of their image :)

As other reviewers have mentioned this place is truly no nonsense when it come to service. They were extremely busy but still took our orders in reasonable time and everything arrived quickly. The pizza was thin but very large which was perfect. It was buzzing with local guests, in fact we were brought here by some friends who are from Rome. They told us this was known for their authentic Roman style pizza. Will definitely be coming back if we’re ever in Rome again!

Ai Marmi is a no nonsense restaurant serving, amongst other things, fantastic Roman style pizzas (best I have ever had). Don't expect table cloths or fancy glasses. There is one menu per table and you get the same glass for water, beer or wine but this simplicity adds to the charm. Friendly service, great housewine and a killer tiramisu. The restaurant is buzzing with locals aswell. Highly recommended!

Decided to try after walking by the night before and seeing a line of almost 30 people. It’s also recommended on rick Steve’s guidebook. Expect slow service but yummy food. Best tiramisu I had in Rome !

Low key, low priced, but high five! Wine out of kitchen glasses, pizzas with only the necessities on! Thin and perfect dough! Loved it!
