Lovely little find, really nice food very reasonable prices, very quick service. Lovely setting with the grapevines. Local people eating in which I take as a good sign. 3 of us ate, we all had lovely food.

If you still want to eat the traditional Italian cuisine where everything is still home made and family run, and where grandma ( over 80 years old) is still in the kitchen cooking the food as she has done for the past 60 years, than you can't miss eating at Al Biondo Tevere. The restaurant dates back to early 1920 and it's known for it's homemade style cooking. It's open all day from lunch to late night. Even though the restaurant remained style 70' the customer that attracts range from all social classes due to it's traditional homemade dishes. You cannot visit Rome and not try the real local dishes. I eat here at least once a week.

This historical restaurant is full of unique view on the Tevere and Pasolini used to eat there after! The food is good and pizza is very thin!
Good

After a long day of university, me and a friend of mine e felt like having pizza, so he brought me to this place, saying that in the summer time they have this open terrace facing the Tiber, it was nice, pizza was thin and crispy as the Roman tradition sets, I found it pretty cheap, 2 pizzas+ 1 dessert + water 17 € . Definitely the right place of you want to have some pizza for a totally worthy price ! 又好吃又便宜!

A local friend took us there for dinner on the first night in Rome and we loved the place so much that we kept returning! It is simple but really yummy. The pizza was delicious, the fresh pasta with funghi porcini and mussels also, fried artichoke, a Roman specialty, everything was good. Service is a little slow (try to avoid Sunday lunch, it is packed and it can be one hour before you eat), but it was alright in the evening. The place feels very "real" and lively with lots of locals. Always a good sign.
I would not say the view of the river is that great... on the other bank there appear to be some kind of shantytown with garbage. But we still loved the place! Go!
