Ate here recently while in Rome, absolutely delicious. A little bit of a wait, but not too bad. Prices are very reasonable, staff is friendly. We got the meat and cheese boards and 2 sandwiches. All were excellent.

Do yourself a favor and order the "mixed plate" at Pane e Salame. It was so good that I told my local hotel receptionist that she needed to go order it for lunch. I hope she does. The quality of the meats and cheeses is great all through Italy, but this was the best combination of these products we ate in the country. Just yum!

If you want to eat inside, be sure youre not in a rush. There were que 10 metres long, unless you take the sandwich with you. Then you dont have to wait so long. Everything we ate, we're just delicious!

Expectations were high due to the high rating on TA. We were lucky to get a table right before "rush hour".
We had tapas, but the bread was very dry and hard as stone. Yet, the quality of the commodities were great.
Great selection of delicious wine as well.
It is a cozy little place.
