You go here to see the bronze statues. It's well laid out . But it could be so much better- they had no change when we went, ?!!!! . The main event is very good, the bronzes are superb, but you also want to know about the process of getting to this point from finding them in the 70s, which is covered by one tiny tv screen and only in Italian! , when everything else is multilingual?

This museum was an amazing discovery in Reggio Calabria! We expected to find many artefacts from the Greek period, but what we found exceeded all expectations! Findings from the ancient history in Calabria's region, throughout the Greek and Roman period, everything well preserved and presented in the way that captures your attention for hours and hours that you will spend in the museum! A true gem, of course, were the Riace bronze statues - only them well worth the visit! And on the top of all - there are no queues or crowds! A true treasure for all history and archeology lovers!

Wow there is so much here...fantastic history and every artefact had English translations. However, the bronzes, which are obviously the main attraction here, had ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION WHATOSEVER! we had read about them before but not everyone would have! Amazing that it said nothing! The rest was great although a cafe would have been nice!

Great museum with good English translations. Beautiful building and layout. 8 euros seems a reasonable fee! We enjoyed it

A very well curated collection of antiquities from the Calabria region highlighted by the Riace bronzes.
