I got in for free because it was the Fallas weekend. Showing the history of this crazy fun-filled festival and all the Ninots are beautiful. Definitely worth a visit if you have an hour or so of free time!

After seeing the main event it was interesting to see earlier incarnations made of cardboard. Small museum over 2 floors. Ask them to show the film in your language. Unfortunately it is impossible to buy a booklet or even a postcard of the fallas. They certainly don't cash in on the event.

The Fallas museum is only a stone's throw away from the main tourist attractions of Valencia (Science park etc) and is well worth a visit.
It is beautifully set out and has a light, airy and uncluttered feel.
You can see posters advertising the Fallas throughout the ages, alonag with many 'ninots' spared the flames.
It is a lovely place to wander through the history of the Fallas and learn about the techniques used in their intricate design and production
When I went it was, unexpectedly, free to enter, but it is certainly worth a few euros an hour out of your time visiting Valencia.
Highly recommended!

This is a very well kept and organized overview of the fallas, housed in an old convent near the Ciudad de las Sciences
It consists of a self guided tour along all saved "ninots" that were "rescued" from the flames from the 1930's up until now.
It is surprising to the see the amount of detail used in making the ninots and larger fallas, even in the oldest ninots.
The exhibition also shows all announcement posters and the portraits of the Falleras Mayor
This, together with information panels make it a must see if interested in the history of the fallas.

We were staying 4 days for the Fallas, and the museum was a 5 minute walk away.
We were fascinated by the history; by the “ninots” that fill every space, (the only survivors of each year), and the story of the changes in manufacturing and materials.
The figures are amazing pieces of art/sculpture, and enough of the older ones could almost be in Madame Tussaud’s ....
An hour really well spent. No charge in the Fallas week!!
