We went earlier in the year and was met by a very polite receptionist who shown us to our accommodation a more than average size studio apartment which was clean and had everything you would need, had its own private pool which was adequate and plenty of sun beds for all,it was a two minute walk to the very clean and tidy beach with plenty of facilaties and a 5min walk to the main town where their are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops all very well priced for meals and bevridges and the beaches are nice to but do get very busy
A great place to stay if you want an quiet relaxing holiday and a great place to visit,we will be going back in march 2016 for another stay at the marina.
Lost for words really, disgusting rundown old apartments, crockery dirty, rooms very dated, beds like concrete, surrounding areas very scruffy, no deposit safes in rooms & were advised to keep shutters down at night hence we checked out same day as we arrived.
Arrived here with a taxi, which didn't have a remote control to the gates. The driver ran to the reception to fix it, but couldn't. Taxis blocked the road in front of the gates, so they had to move away. No problem, we're young and fit so we carried our suitcases (120-150 meters).
No problems at the reception - just remember the €50 deposit they want up front.
The rooms are nice and OK, but start the aircondition in good time before going to bed. The living room is the only room with aircondition, so it takes time to cool down the other rooms. Beware though, setting it to a very low temperature before going to bed achieves 3 things: 1: The bedrooms are (too) cold in the morning, 2: the living room is freezing and 3: the terrace is a furnace, because the heat exchanger is mounted right over the table where you (can) eat your breakfast.
Even though they are furnished as apartments, don't plan on cooking very much there. When we arrived the dishes were poorly washed, and the teflon frying pans were full of scratches and dents - we refused to use them and fried our eggs in a kettle.
Also, we only got 1 card for the pool area. We're a family of 4, with kids (11-15). You need a card to get in and out of the pool, so it's a bit tedious when someone wants to go inside for some reason - but nothing very troublesome.
A big plus for location - a short walk from the beachfront with lots of activities. Also a very pleasant Ukrainian receptionist we had a nice talk with while waiting for the room to be checked.
All in all we were happy with our stay and would probably go back unless we found something more interesting at the same price. And we wouldn't shop breakfast/any food that needs to be cooked in the apartment.
My wife and I stayed there for one night - and we were lucky to leave the hotel after just that night.
We had to make a deposit of €50 even if we had paid for our stay in advance. The appartment was at the ground floor just beside of the reception. When we should go to bed we locked all windows and took down the steel curtains in order to ensure not to have burglars. Then we detected that the window at the sleeping room could not be locked. We called for the receptionist, but she could do nothing at that time of the evening.
I set chairs and tables in front of all windows and doors so that we should notice if someone should try to invade the rooms.
Of course it is a cheap accomodation, but we will never consider to book at the hotel anymore.
We stayed here for four days and were very impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the accomodation both the apartment and the environment surrounding. The staff were so attentive and friendly and able to provide extras like a clothes horse and answers to questions etc. There are several cafes and restaurants at the location and it's near to town and you would not know there was a boat yard nearby. Found it to be a quiet and very well run venue and would be very happy to stay here again. The apartments are simply laid out but everything you need is there. Free wifi was also much appreciated.
