Great little hotel in the centre of the old town, an added bonus was free parking. Lovely rooms and a fantastic breakfast area on the roof. The reception lady was very nice and breakfast was adequate.

All in all a great find for the price and if we are ever here again i shall return.

Room Tip: top floor always

If this Hostal was in England I would rate it as a 3star boutique hotel it was that good.
Every room had a different theme ours was nautical our friends was morrocan they were very clean and a very large comfortable bed and tea and coffee. The bathroom had a spar shower cubicle great .On the terrace there was more free tea or coffee and wine .Breakfast was served here at extra cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful this is one place I shall be returning too.

Room Tip: Our room was 102 large but no balcony like some have

The hotel is clean and the staff friendly despite little English - well it is Spain.
The roof terrace is quirky and a cool place to spend half an hour with a glass of wine.
Situated on the edge of the old town - there were interesting streets and squares all around.
Close to some excellent bars and restaurants including some typically local places with friendly faces and friendly prices.
Only question mark was the parking. The free parking area was full on the evening i arrived and the search for any other space was long and frustrating.

This was our second visit, the last one being five years ago when we stayed for one night en route to somewhere else. This time we wanted to stay longer & explore more. Not a lot has changed over the years, it's still a lovely hotel & the roof terrace is beautiful. What a lovely place to eat breakfast, or while away an hour or two before bed when lit by candles. However, the hotel wouldn't suit everybody. It's a fair walk to the beach & all uphill on the way back. It's incredibly difficult to find, even with Sat nav & parking is difficult, you often can't park anywhere nearby. That said, we love it & would definitely stay there again if in Calpe.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a balcony.

Old town location with superb attentiom to detail in the charming small rooms. Air con for comfort, but you would be better spending your time on the lovely roof terrace with it's rooftop views and pleasant seating are. You may even get offered a free glass of wine! There is a useful lift.
