This bar became our regular on the way back to the hotel. Good service, good prices and great tapas.

Decent seafood paella. The boquerones fritos were good - but the aioli definitely helped with flavor. The langostinos al ajillo were supposedly the “big” shrimp but overall were super tiny to me. Maybe 32 count size. Tasty though. Tinto de verano was a little strong

€3 breakfast specials! Great for a fast breaky at a non-touristy downtown restaurant. Service was fast and friendly.

First night in Madrid and this was near our hotel. It’s a local bar and it does good food. As soon as we sat, the waiter set the table with a cloth and cutlery and we ordered manchega, Iberica ham, vinegar anchovies and croquets with ham. We had a lovely bottle of cava. The food was e belle to and arrived as it was prepared so no waiting for long.service was friendly and it was very enjoyable. Don’t expect high calibre restaurant as it’s a bar that locals frequent. The cost was €80. Would return.

Our first breakfast choice was closed, so we ended up coming to O'Farro since when we passed it, it was open and full of business. It did not disappoint. Though it was hard to ask what each menu item was since we speak poquito español, the server was quite helpful nonetheless. We got a traditional Spanish breakfast where we saw many locals stopping in for breakfast too. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, and the tomatoes on our "barrate con tomate" were also fresh. Payed only €2.20 for juice, coffee, and the barrate!
