Great stay for a family with young kids, just 2 min. away from the Old Town and Marine Harbour with restaurants and anything you will need down there, a small supermarket nearby, a larger one just 10 min away, Pool Area is fantastic for everyone, because of different smaller and larger pools for swimming or just have some fun, Jacuzzis to relax! The apartment was very clean, huge for a family of four with everything you need for your holiday. Great stay, we'll come back!! Thank you so much, Carol :-)

Great apartment in an ideal location. Shops are a few minutes stroll away and the excellent pool area is closer still. The marina, which is on the doorstep is fabulous for food and drink. A really enjoyable holiday.

“Perfect, everything thought of.”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Our flight was late and Chris waited on with no issues just a smile and a bottle of red, what a great start.
Booked a week for Myself, Wife and 2x Girls (12 & 14)
We immediately sorted the pool access, it’s a fingerprint system which we initially thought security gone mad, however it was great as it required no ID for access, just our fingers, I'm not sure if we were lucky or it just never gets busy but we always found a great location to lay in the sun, its even close enough just to have a quick hour visit to keep the kids happy.
We’re regulars to Gib and this location was perfect, for meals we stuck to the Marina and Casemates with a short walk (favourite was Bruno’s on the marina for evening and The Ship for breakfast), I strayed from the family a couple of nights and found a couple of lovely local kebab shops a few hundred yards from the front door.
The apartment had everything we needed, they had even left essentials so minimum required from Morrison’s.
The aircon in all rooms was brilliant and essential, the washing machine was excellent, wife even took the model number as she wants the same.
One of my highlights was sitting on the balcony with the wife and fresh coffee looking at the mopeds scream by, Carol we unboxed the cafetiere, hope that was OK.
We love Gibraltar and visit as often as we can, we would definitely stay in this apartment again.
Thank you Chris and Carol and look forward to seeing you next year.

“Modern Apartment in prime location”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We travelled with our son age 7 and daughter age 3, apartment had a good selection of DVD's for them to watch and equipped with the other amenities to assist us with our stay. Upon arrival we were met by the owner and shown around, and were grateful for the welcome pack. Majestic Plaza is part of Ocean Village which gave us access to all the pools and Jacuzzi's which was the highlight for the kids. The Marina is very modern with some lovely restaurants and a village shop to stock up for the week. Case Mates square is just a minutes walk away which had some live entertainment in the evening. Overall I was impressed with the apartment, I have stayed in Gibraltar many times and this is the best by a long way and we will not hesitate with staying here again, thank you Carole.

“Top-Notch Apartment”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I really wasn't expecting too much of the accomodation for this week-long stay in Gibraltar, especially given that we paid only £400 between two couples. To find on arrival that it was situated in an up-and-coming area of Gibraltar, just across a road from Casemates Square and Main Street, in a modern block overlooking the marina buzzing with restaurants and coffee shops, was a huge bonus. The apartment is contemporary, smart and flash, with comfortably-sized bedrooms and a good bathroom. It lacked for nothing (except perhaps a second bathroom and a coffee machine!) and the highlight was a superb balcony that wrapped around the entire apartment. It wasn't wide but was impressively long. Carol and her hubby met us on arrival and supplied maps and information useful to first-time visitors. There is a private pool area adjacent to the building, but the early-summer weather, and the fact that access to it seemed a bit of a hassle, meant that it went unused. It did look nice from a distance, though! On the down-side, there is no free car-parking. As Carol pointed out, who needs a car in Gib?, but we did, and parkng it was an expensive hassle all week. You'll need to factor in something like £13 a day into your budget to use the car park nearest to the apartment. However, that was a personal choice and it may be one others don't need to consider. We had a whale of a time in the place and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again or recommend to anyone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our apartment and grateful for your positive feedback. We agree that Parking is a nightmare in Gibraltar, even for residents and do not recommend hiring a car. It's a shame you did not make use of the pool area although I understand the security can be a bit of a challenge. It does however, ensure that only those staying in the Ocean Village complex have access to the best Gibraltar has to offer. Thanks again for your review and hope to see you again In the future.
