We found this place recommended in a local guide book given to us by our hotels. Three of us turned up around 10am as they were opening, and ordered coffees and teas - the cafe con leche was good, but the main draw is the free pinchos of tortilla you're given with any drink. Having walked the Camino de Santiago for nearly 3 weeks and eaten tortilla all along the route I can comfortably say that the tortilla at La Tita was the best of the trip! We actually tried to order a 1/2 tortilla for the three of us for breakfast and the waiter immediately told us it would be too much and told us about the free tortilla with a drink policy - meaning that we all had a decent sized breakfast for 6.40 euros altogether (2 drinks/portions each). We visited again later in the week - one review here notes that they didn't get free tortilla, but I can only assume that that was due to a busy rush on La Tita staff (there are only 2 or three servers). It took longer to get us our free racion the second time as it was much busier, but they did pick up on it and promptly rectified that! I am sure they'd be happy to do the same if that happened to you, so just ask if it seems your tortilla has been overlooked.
