If you like to understand a bit more about Galicia, this trip is really interesting! Our guide, Maria, explained 3 themes of Galicia: 1. the history and legends of St James and his followers, 2. the primary economical sectors and environmental themes, and 3. the geology. She highlighted nice anecdotes to know, without being overly detailed. After having cycled to Santiago, this trip was a wonderful way to visit Finisterre. The meal was tasty and simple, very good value for the all-inclusive price.

We were tired after completing our Camino the day before and our feet were still aching but we still had many questions about the country we'd walked through. Maria's easy commentary (Spanish then English) answered these questions for us. She was solicitous and caring but at the same time her sense of humour kept the atmosphere light.

We had the legends of Saint James explained; Galician history, economy, and Galician infrastructure were outlined and Emilio drove us to delightful places.

The lunch we enjoyed was very good.

All in all it was terrific value for money.

I got our tour from Discover Galicia,& this is my second time which i highly recommended before.the difference is a lot.started with the pickup.we were just staying in the Pinario and yet we were told to walk blocks away to be pickedup when after ,the bus went to pickup some people in the Parador which is less than a block from Pinario.its upsetting because our group(4)had one that needs a cane to walk.i got Discover Galicia because of Jesus(previous guide) who was very knowledgeable. Was not impress with the lady we have.then the weather didnt cooperate , it was very foggy when we reach finestere.we got the tour with lunch and the food was not impressive either .maybe next time i will let my agent arrange for the tour, hopefully we will get Jesus again.

Took the day trip to Finisterre and the Costa da Morte. Maria was our guide. She met us at our hotel and then walked us down to the small bus - about 25 people on the tour. Maria gave tour in English and Spanish. Bus was clean and comfortable. Stops were nice: Roman bridge and old mills, coffee/bathroom break, waterfall, Finisterre, lunch, and a church with the stone boat. Stops were well timed and interesting. Maria gave us background before each stop and then was available to answer individual questions. We were allowed to explore each stop on our own.
Lunch was at a lovely farm house. Good table wine. Vegetarian options (as well as beef and seafood). Some of the men who ordered beef might have liked a bigger serving. I had the vegetarian option and it was good, but a bit basic (salad for first course, chickpea stew for second). Everyone got flan for desert, which I could not eat. Lunch wasn't until about 2:30, so make sure to have a little snack at the coffee stop.
Bathrooms at two of the stops (Finisterre and the church) did not have toilet paper, so bring your own!
Lovely day and great trip! I would recommend it for others who would like to see the coast and learn a bit about the Celtic and Roman history of the region.
