Most of the sights to see in Ceuta are central and walkable.
On our waking tour of the town we took in these walls with moat.
Really nice to see and a great photo opportunity.

We would have never visited Ceuta if not for the fact that this was a scheduled port of call on our cruise. Pretty impressive stronghold. What was more interesting was that inside the court yard was their annual medieval festival. This was a pretty interesting site to behold. They had vendors and stalls decorated in medieval style and an interesting band of minstrals walking about. The medieval attire of this event added to the charm of this market and left a very memorable experience of our trip.

If you are a history lover and like to see what others have left in centuries before.
Unfortunately, could not find a guide, so buy a “lonely planet” or try to learn more on google before visiting.

We stopped in Ceuta for a day on a cruise. The walls of Ceuta are impressive, and close to the port. Unfortunately the day we were there they had some event and most of the walls were cordoned off. However, we did manage to find a gap in the fencing so we could walk along the top of one part of the wall. There was no obvious reason for all the access to be blocked. You can get boat trips along the moat. There are good views of the walls from various places all sides - just go walking! And also views from the top of the walls. No charge to get in, so well worth some time when you are in Ceuta.

Loved just stopping and looking at the calm waters with kayakers and boaters passing through, but make sure you walk in between the walls on the west side- there is an open door with a cannon inside, and if you walk in, there is a free art exhibit on local painters that is two floors! It was a great find
