We stayed at the medium Romantic as my preferred hotel, the Galeon was full.

I have stayed in the Medium Sitges Park in a room by the pool area, amazing. I was expecting the same standard but it didn’t quite match up.

Bedroom was at the top of the hotel in the attic, room 534. Room was good with good ac. The tv has limited channels for those English speakers, no bbc, sky or bbc world. I like to catch up with the news when Back from the beach and before going out for the evening. Room very clean if a little basic. Good WiFi.

Bathroom tiny and dated. Shower went hot and cold obviously when other guests used their bathrooms.

The Galeon offers one of the best breakfast sadly the Romantic wasn’t a patch on its sister salon the the Medium Park.

Beautiful garden outside to dine or just relax. No pool.

No lift in the hotel, fine for me but less abled need to consider this.

Nice little hotel but would look elsewhere before going back.

We had a great stay in this beautiful little hotel. The owners/staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfy, clean and quiet although naturally some outside noise is to be expected in the center of town. The air conditioning works well and was really appreciated in The August heat. The breakfast is varied and all good although for british tastes the scrambled eggs and bacon are best avoided. Fresh fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice and great cofee are a bonus and eating in the shady garden is lovely. Don‘t expect luxury, just good basic but characterful accommodation in a good location close to everything. Parking in such places is always an issue. The hotel has a deal with a local carpark for about 16 Euros IF you can get a space. Only confident drivers should attempt the narrow streets.

Room tip: A patio is definitely a bonus. Ours was at the top and the view was just over other buidlings but was still nice to sunbathe on.

Ideally located and only 5 mins walk from the bus station and 5 to the beach. Not in a busy street. Beautiful interior with lots of unique detail, friendly staff and great breakfasts. Quiet, leafy central garden to relax in. Our bedroom was very private and had great air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. Would happily stay here again.

We arrived late in the evening at the hotel and were met with a very warm welcome at reception. Maps were provided to help us orientate ourselves around the old part of the town and we soon realised that the hotel was in a great location in the old part of the town. It is very near both the train station and the bus stop to the airport. Both are a 5 - 7 minute walk away which was great for getting to/from Barcelona and the airport.

Our room was on the second floor (no lift) at the back of the hotel with large french doors opening onto a small terrace with a table, two chairs and a lounger. The room was a good size with twin beds, a small bedside table, chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a very good a/c unit. The bathroom had a small tub and shower and the towels were soft and nice. The bathroom window could open as well over the terrace as there is no extractor. The room was decorated with a collection of lovely blue tiles and whitewash walls.

The hotel has two staircases: one from reception serving the front rooms over the small road in front and the rear staircase through a number of small rooms and past the breakfast area. All the downstairs rooms and staircases are decorated with a variety of works of modern and classical art, pottery, plates and some interesting stonework by the bar. Good selection of drinks offered at the bar for reasonable prices as well as water for the room. The whole hotel has a very eclectic feel.

Breakfast is a self service buffet with a great selection of choices: cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, a variety of bread rolls, croissants, pastries, custard tart, fritatta, pizza, ham, prosciutto, cheeses, boiled eggs, rocket salad, tomato and cucumber as well as hot scrambled eggs, bacon and mini sausages. The self serve coffee machine provides a good range of excellent coffee and they have a wide variety of fruit/herbal and regular teas. The ladies in the kitchen are very helpful and do an amazing job with their preparations. Marlena also made a delicious carrot cake one morning and if you see anything home made you just have to try it - it is all delicious!

A selection of juices and water, and fresh fruit are self served from a small table out in the courtyard. There are plenty of tables outside in the dappled shade making the area perfect for eating al fresco, and seemingly no insects either! Please note that you will see two types of chairs and tables set up in the courtyard. We first sat at the white iron chairs and had a real laugh as the table is really high when you sit at them, rather like being back at school!. Over on the left there are canvas chairs where the table is at a more manageable height so would recommend you sit there!

Our flight back to London was cancelled and Noemi at reception was really helpful as we needed another room for Saturday night. She held the room for us so we could look at it (it was the only room available). It was on the third floor at the front of the hotel, but we had to share the bathroom which was next door. The room was perfect for us for the one night and the a/c unit was great as it was quite a bit hotter up on the third floor. She also helped us charge our phone in the office as we spent so much time on the phone to the taxi company rearranging our transfer to the airport due to the local taxi drivers strike. We were so lucky that the hotel was just a stone's throw from the station as it meant our early Sunday morning departure was so much easier.

All the staff at the hotel are excellent at dealing with customers and are just so helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Medium Romantic and would certainly like to return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Room tip: We had a twin room at the back of the hotel with a garden terrace and would recommend it
