Very comfortable room, thoroughly renovated. Electronically controlled shower was enjoyable and easy to use.
Best location next to cathedral and Jewish quarter. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was like a smorgasbord of tasty choices, including eggs.

This was a lovely hotel, located right in the heart of old Girona, up a a lot of steps but well worth the walk. The owner took us to our room, which was lovely :up on the 4th (top) floor with its own little terrace. The room was very stylish with quirky woodwork and an open plan circular bath with waterfall tap. There were twin basins and the loo was separated by a plate glass door. The breakfast room and entrance all had lovely pierced metal lights with pictures of stars, angels etc cut into the metal. The effect was magical. We were told that the buildings origins were Roman but although it was truly historic it was also extremely modern in many ways eg the wifi was very fast. The owner booked a taxi to the airport for us and went with us to the square nearby where it would arrive. He stayed with us until it did which was very reassuring.

Charismatic hotel, convenient location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff. Cathedral bells add to the charm and did not disturb. Red room had striking decor.
Note no tea or coffee in room facilities.

Room Tip: Red room was spacious

Very nice hotel, very well located, professional stuff...clean room, not very good wifi, they have a very nice terrace...they could profit it more. They give you very good advice about where to eat and drink something

In the old part of town this building looks old from the outside but once inside it is a well appointed remodeled hotel. Within walking distance to everywhere and up on a hill above the river. Excellent, cooked to order breakfast. Only spent one night here on a trek to the coast but would go back next time we're in Girona. Javier, part of the ownership family was very helpful in recommendations and ideas and also stored our luggage for us for a few days as we trekked down to the ocean.

Room Tip: We found the higher floor was very quiet.
