This penthouse apartment was in need of a little TLC.
We were met by Bosco the owner who is a lovely man and very helpful as was Willem at Lets go Barcelona the rental company. The apartment is in a great location. Situated on Calle Industria almost at the junction with Avenida Gaudi with Sagrada Familia at the bottom of the street and the Picturesque Hospital at the other.
The layout of the flat is good and the rooms have plenty of storage space and are well furnished. However Bosco had stated that the awning on the terrace had been broken by a previous visitor and had not yet been fixed which was fine as we weren't going to use it anyway. The glass partition on the terrace had also been cracked and not been replaced which spoiled the look of the terrace, it was a bit worse for wear. Inside the apartment there were dirty marks on the walls, the couch was threadbare and dirty in places and the kitchen's white goods particularly the cooker and the dishwasher were very grubby and sticky.
The bathroom was nice but there were covers missing over electrical ?junctions, apparently stolen by a previous rental.
All in all an apartment in a good location which could benefit from a bit of attention.
