Loved the balcony and kitchen/living area, big space for our group of 6. Really convenient location as the Sagrada was only 2 blocks away with a supermarket on the next road.
Great Wifi too!
The sofa bed was not too great though, so I would recommend to the owners to purchase a new, comfier sofa bed for future guests!

“Very disappointed”

We booked this unit online for six nights, well in advance of our much-anticipated vacation. It was the most expensive of the vacation rentals we booked for this trip, but we expected that in Barcelona. It also looked great from the pictures; modern, lots of amenities. I specifically wanted a unit with good air conditioning, knowing it would be hot in Spain in July. Our check-in was reasonably smooth. The woman checking us in was pleasant and helpful, though she mentioned she had many check-ins to do that day (resulting in a wait for us). The trouble began on our first night. The air conditioning was barely functional. Our kids couldn't sleep. We inquired about this but were told it was on maximum. We considered buying fans, knowing we had five more nights to go. When we went to take a shower, the faucet handle fell off. We were able to get it going-barely-but it was difficult to control the temperature and water pressure. The following morning, we awoke to find that there was no water in the suite. It turned out that there was maintenance work being done in the building for the day, and the water was to be turned off for the entire morning ! We weren't advised of this in advance despite many contacts with the agent before check-in. We were told later that there were signs up in the building warning occupants about this maintenance. There WERE various papers posted in the building, however they were all in Spanish. Looking back, they MAY have been the advisory they were talking about, but we do not speak Spanish (and the check-in person and booking agent were both aware of this). We attempted to reach the agent about this, however, after six hours of no response and no water, we packed up and went to a hotel. We have had several interactions with the agent, who responded that because it "wasn't their fault" and we were "given notice," (?) that they will only consider a single night refund. I waited to write this review, hoping for a more positive resolution. We have had to ask them several times to provide this refund and we're still waiting to receive it. The professional thing to do would have been to at least ensure in advance that we were aware of the maintenance work, and perhaps offer some sort of compensation. My warning to prospective future renters: the unit is very modern and clean, and the kitchen has lots of dishes, cutlery, etc. The beds are comfortable. It is conveniently located if you plan to visit La Sagrada Familia (which we recommend), but quite a distance from almost everything else you may want to visit. If you are going to rent it, I would definitely ensure that these problems have been corrected (or perhaps visit in cool weather when you don't need to worry about poor air conditioning. Better still, I would choose something more centrally located and where customer service is a priority--even if you pay more for it. Barcelona is a wonderful city, and once we secured proper accommodation, we enjoyed lots of amazing sites, food, and experiences.

Dado que le he enviado varias comunicaciones en inglés y parece que no las entiende, le escribo en español, quizás traduciéndolo a través de algún experto, le quedará más claro.
Según me comenta, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba la primera noche, la mañana siguiente se fue a comprobar y funcionaba, entiendo que las restantes noches les funciono. Respecto a la ducha es una piececita suelta del mando y como se le comentó estamos esperando que nos llegue el tornillo que falta. La ducha funciona normalmente, solo que a veces sale esta pieza, pero volviéndola a colocar funciona normalmente. Le pedimos disculpas por este pequeño inconveniente, pero que no impide que Vdes pudieran disfrutar del agua a la temperatura deseada. La pieza está ya colocada. Como se puede comprobar, hay otro comentario del huesped que estuvo despues que Vd. y no mencona ninguno de estos problemas.
El corte de suministro de agua lo efectuó la Cia de aguas para varios edificios de la manzana, disponemos de 4 apartamentos en este edificio y todos los huespedes, de habla inglesa, sabían del corte desde las 09.00 hasta las 15.00 horas. Le ofrecimos una compensación, por un problema de corte de suministro que es ajeno a nuestra responsabilidad, para el día de su check out, pero Vds. se fueron antes de la hora acordada. Me envio un correo y le conteste para que nos facilitara sus datos para hacerle una transferencia, pero por lo que entiendo en su comentario no esta interesada ya en ello.
