Owner description: The Montjuic cable car is the most modern and attractive way to see the Barcelona skyline against the sea. An unforgettable way to get to Montjuic Castle The cable car links the city to the top of Montjuic. To do so, its glazed cars climb 84.5 Metres on a 750-metre run that shows the whole of Barcelona, from the Serra de Collserola to the sea. The cable car has three stations: Parc de Montjuic, Miramar and Castell de Montjuic, and is fully accessible.

Whilst it was nice to be able to see the City from up high, you can actually walk up in around 10 mins. Quite steep price at 12,70 Euros per person review.

They try to get you to have your photo taken on arrival and sell it to you when you leave.

Hello!

We regret to read that we did not live up to your expectations.

Teleférico de Montjuïc is a touristic service, therefore the price is higher than a normal bus. However, we recommend all the visitors to check our webpage in order to have information about our service and all the main interesting points you can enjoy in the hill of Montjuïc. It is also a nice and unique experience to enjoy a fantastic views of Barcelona.

Best regards,

The lazy route was obviously the best route to get to Montjuic Castle, as we were treated to some amazing views of the city, all the while being comforted by the fact that we weren't walking around in the blazing sun for once.

We took the Cable Car from the beach up to Montjuic. It was mid Feb, early morning so the queues were short but still took 30-40 minutes to get from the queue on the ground up and into a car.

The views are spectacular over the luxury yachts, beach and harbour. The walk from the cable car terminal is not too long up to Montjuïc castle and gives more nice views as you go. Well worth the trip, probably best in the cool of the spring or autumn as I imagine it could be a lot tougher in the heat of the summer

Two ways to look at this. If you’re tight then walk up the hill through the park with great stop offs and park furniture. If you want a treat hunt for a voucher book which gives you €2 off at €10.70 per adult and enjoy the ride. Either way a great view is gained if you go past the castle entrance, over the gun turret wall.
