This is a must do! We had loads of laughs and fun making Sangria and Tapas. Then we were shown how to make the most delicious Paella. We listened in on the traditions of cooking Paella, Sangria and Tapas and the other ways to prepare it. We had a small group and a very nice bar to watch and help prepare the Paella. There was plenty of food and laughs to go around. What also made it a great night was the reasonable cost, much cheaper than a touristy restaurant. I will go again just for the atmosphere and friendliness (and of course the paella and sangria)
I even bought a paella dish/pan!

Was a great way to learn about traditional Catalan cuisine while concocting our own sangria

After being part of Buddha's Fat Tire bicycle tour group, I knew that an evening spent in his cooking school was going to be entertaining and informative. I wasn't disappointed! While we enjoyed the sangria that we made as a "first course", Buddha instructed the group on preparation of a Spanish classic: Paella. While the paella was cooking, we put together several different tapas from a lovely selection of tapa basics. And drank more of the sangria! The group was small, the location cozy and a bit funky . . . and definitely fun. While it was more like watching a skilled chef put together a great meal, there was enough hands on to feel like we were part of the preparation, and Buddha's very outgoing personality and enthusiasm for food kept the presentation lively. As a solo traveler, I can recommend this experience to anyone wishing to learn prepare a classic Spanish menu, enjoy the company of travelers from around the globe (our group happened to lean towards Australia, but the UK and USA were also represented) and all at a very reasonable price - much less than one would expect to pay for a comparable meal in a more traditional restaurant setting. I'll be making the same menu for my family soon! Contact Buddha through Fat Tire Bicycle Tours, Barcelona, Spain.

This was a fantastic night out. Meet some great people and learnt some really interesting things about Spanish food. Its all hands on so you get to try your hand at making everything. It was really fun, even for someone who can't cook at all (like me).

A really enjoyable night. Thanks Buddha.

This was a great taste of Spanish cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere and lots of congeniality. We went on Buddha's bike tour, then signed up for the cooking class. For $20 euros, you have a whole evening of fun, sangria, tapas and for the main dish, seafood paella. Buddha is a trained chef, and has a great sense of humor! I really enjoyed our evening and all the gang at the Stoke bar!
