Very good paella and 1° dishes. The staff is very nice and the space is cozy and welcome.
The price is according to the city!
In another time in Barcelona i will back for sure.

The waiter was extremely rude, he did not let us sit in 4-seated table, he said that we will have to wait after the 2-seated table is available. He will prioritize the 4-seated table for large group that came after us, although we were there first. He eventually gave us the table due to the next customer was also couple. Waited for almost 30 minutes only to be told that they will not serve Paella anymore and advice us to order something else. We told the waiter that we came to eat paella and after some negotiations within them, the waiter advice us that they can serve us paella only if we wait 1 1/5 hour, and he did say the same thing to the other 2 table that came at around the same time as us. we agreed to that and ordered 2 tappas as starter. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the waiter magically brought our paella and I noticed that the other two tables was able to get their paella at the same time also. Not quite sure why they had to ask us to wait for 1 1/5 hour in the first place. Maybe its their marketing strategy to make us order something else before the paella. The paella was undercooked, the rice was still hard, lack of taste, the clam was not clean properly. THE SERVICE IS THE WORST THING IN THIS PLACE.

We had tapas here tonight and loved both the food and the friendly and funny host.
He treated us with some extra shots since Spain was about to win against Portugal (about to...) :)
Food was delicious, make sure to try the mushrooms and the patatas bravas.
One of the traditional old bodegas in Barcelona, can only recommend it!

Really great local gem. Our walking tour guide (Carsen) gave us this rec and it was really wonderful. Great food, quaint place. Enjoyed it very much. GO!

We waited 30 minutes for our table to be told that he would give priority to a group who came after us since they have more participants. The restaurant is very revenue driven with no attention to its customers. Once we finally received a table for two we were told by the waiter that since a lot of tables ordered paella (not sure what the waiter means with a lot as the place is very tiny) it could take 1h30 minutes for the paella and advised us to take some other dishes. We were willing to wait the 1h30 due to the good reviews on tripadvisor and decided to take some additional tapas for the meantime. But guess what??!! As soon as we were done with the tapas (not longer than 15 minutes after we ordered the paella) the waiter was magically able to arrange for the paella (which by the way was not spectacular but rather average! Rice was still hard). I guess the restaurant didnt met its daily revenue yet and this is how they trick their customers so that they will order more! Avoid this place!
