This is a point of interest because it is across the plaza from the cathedral and it holds the tourist info office.

There are clean bathrooms here.

In front is arguably the ugliest “art” or sculpture” I have ever seen. It looks like sticks in a swamp.

Of course, the City Hall sits on the main square, and opposite the cathedral, so you can check off a number of important sights in one go. The building itself is nice but not spectacular.

The only reason I really notice city hall was because it was across the plaza from the Cathedral. It has great views of the Cathedral and vice versa. There is some modern art sculpture that fills with water that our guide told us about in front of it. Otherwise it is simply something you see when visiting the Cathedral.

We first stopped at the in the Ayuntamiento Plaza (or Town Hall Square) outside the cathedral for a few more photos of the cathedral and the two other impressive buildings on the square. These are the Archbishop's Palace and the Ayuntamiento de Toledo (City council of Toledo, Toledo Town or City Hall), which is the main building for the city government as well as the tourist office. Ayuntamiento de Toledo was built in three stages by some of Spain’s famous architects including Juan Herrera (architect for Monasterio de el Escorial and Palacio Real de Aranjuez) and Jorge Manuel Theotocopuli (son of El Greco). It was constructed mostly during the 17th century and was built on another Mudejar structure that existed there. The facade facing the square is the most impressive part of the building,
