This beach is right beside the Magdalena Peninsula and as all the other in Santander is very nice. Particularly this one is more protected by some rocky areas.

The beaches along this coast line are breath taking. The beaches and sea are clean and there is toilets and cafes along the sea front. I would definitely revisit as often as I can.

There is one advantage of Santander. It has few beaches divided from each other and that is why you do not end up one big beach crowded with tourists...Also, it is not the first destination that come to tourists' mind as San Sebastian. All these make the beaches calmer. The water at Playa de Bikinis is warm, clean and it is not deep so people who cannot swim would also like it. There are small cabins to change your clothes. The center with restaurants and cafes are 20 mins walk.

This is a nice beach, where it is also safe with children. There are also waves, but less than at the Sardinero beach. This beach is also a bit closer to the centre of Santander.

A broad sweeping beach stretching for around 2 miles (with plenty of watering holes along the way)There is a lot of Harbour movement and from small craft to much larger Car ferries. Many people who visit are arriving on the ferries but immediately drive away to their ultimate destination but it's worth spending a day here even if it means arriving a day before your ferry sailing.
