Great views, really interesting and it is on the contrast one of the places in Tenerif where you can see green and lush mountains. Highly recommended!

the most amazing view I ever saw. The landscape is just wanderful and the sunset impressive. I would go back anytime

The landscape is just beautiful with a great view. In March there are not so many tourists in the valley and small town.

Wow, the road to Masca is already itself an exiting! If you go there by rental car, rent a small one, and learn the car’s exterioir dimensions! :-) . That will pay off, trust me.
When you get there, you’ll find amazing valley, great altitude diffrences and couple of small restaurants. We visited also Teide, and my opinion is that Masca the place worth to visit. These two are totally opposite ; dead rocks / Green nature gem!

We came later in the afternoon as we knew the tourist buses would be gone by then and they were. The valley is pretty amazing, the mountains around are stunning as for the driving, it's pretty slow so despite all the hairpin bends, and there are plenty, it's not too bad. Mind you we had an automatic, few cars struggled a bit to start up again after they stopped and rolled back a bit. A good idea is to make sure there is quite a gap between you and the car in front, just in case.
