We booked both of these apartments in August 2017, having visited as part of the World Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament which was being hosted by Vitoria-Gasteiz. Communication with Jorge, the owner, was easy and he replied to any questions immediately. Both of the apartments were really good and as we had booked them both, we were able to share the facilities. Only one had an oven and a toaster, but both had a tv, radio, CD player, lots of CDs to listen to and books to read, a washing machine, microwave, kettle etc..
The apartments are directly opposite each other and so we were able to leave both doors open and wander between the two as we wished, which would be very convenient for a larger family.
The location was handy for the tram, the train station, shops and supermarkets, restaurants and bars, all serving the local pintxos or tapas. A 10 minute walk took you into the old town with the Cathedral, the Virgen Blanca square and the painted wall murals all on a must visit list.
We spent 9 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome we received, both as part of the tournament and from the locals whom we encountered in shops, bars and restaurants.
Thank you Jorge for the use of your lovely apartments.
We stayed for 4 nights in this well equipped apartment.. It was perfect for a visit to Vitoria which turned out to be our favourite city on this trip. The apartment was only a 10 min walk from the train station and only 10 mins from the old city. Jorge was very helpful and always responded to our e-mails promptly. We would stay again without hesitation.
