A landmark in Oviedo that is not to be missed. We met the owner, a direct descendant of Camilo de Blas, who was kind enough to answer our questions about their company history.

More than a bakery, it is more of a delicatessen with anything from pastries to craft gins. Coffee from the nespresso machine and the cake was extremely dry.

The patisserie looks stunning and cleaned. It is a historical one since 1914. The pastries were fresh and tasty. The best part though was carbayones. Its a really filling sweet with a very special meaning. Carbayones is the name of the native Asturias. It took its name from the oat tree in the old flag of Asturias.Delicious!

A gorgeous little cake shop, perfect for sugary treats. It has the style of the early 20th century, and has been there for a century. All the food is delicious, my favourite is the chocolate and hazelnut cake that looks like a bungalow.
