First time in Sevilla and decided to check this restaurant after the great reviews. I’m happy to inform that the hype is real.
We arrived late in the afternoon and the place was about to close. However, the chef was so kind that he welcomed us without excitation.
The menu is short but full of variety and flavors. Taking the classics with a modern twist and imagination.
We ordered the carpaccio, salmorejo, mazamorra and foie. Not only flavors were magnificent but the presentation and texture or each plate was superb. On top of that, the chef took the time to explain the dishes and the inspiration behind. His enthusiasm and charisma truly came across through the food prepared.
Since it was summer for drinks we accepted the suggested artisan beers (great selection to choose from).
This is a place to enjoy the food as it should be, fresh, flavorful and truly Spanish. Hands down my best food experience in Europe.
And for those concerned with the pricing, it’s unbelievable affordable.
