Francisco, the owner, was charming, helpful & considerate.
The main attractions are the location & private terrace. Terrace is very large, with nice wood dining table & chairs, plus lounge chairs. You are right in the old historic Barrio Santa Cruz. 2 small plazas between you & the Alacazar, Cathedral & Giraldo tower. Very quiet in apartment for sleeping.
One note - the last few streets to the apartment are too narrow for cars. So you must be able to carry your luggage this part. Francisco met me at "Las Columnas" a famous bodega cafe nearby & helped me with my luggage. This apartment is well worth the effort! And this bar became our "go to" place for morning coffee & evening tapas. Great place with fun people who work there. Say hola to Manolo the bar owner.
The apartment was very spacious with lots of windows. 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. Downstairs BR was small but upstairs BR was large. 2 Bathrooms, one next to each BR. Bathrooms had good showers. Living room / dining room was cozy & functional. The apartment is one of 9-10 built around central courtyard. All seemed to be owned by locals, so you really feel like you are a local when you stay here! Carmen lives next door. Very friendly. She cares for the plants & resident turtle. Ole!More
