We almost didn't get to visit Porto Rossa as it appeared closed on the day we arrived in Seville. Upon second glance we noticed several patrons inside and ventured in to see for ourselves. Sure enough it was open and we were seated with minimal wait.
Service was very good. Our waiter did not speak English (and our Spanish was very broken - at best) so he called in the owner to assist. Great recommendations on the food and the wine also. The seafood pasta was excellent and the filet with gorganzola was also good, although the meat was slightly undercooked for my preference. Dessert was a panacota w/ caramel and was outstanding as was the capuccino and limoncelo finish.
All in all a very good experience. Surely recommend Porta Rossa if you prefer Italian cuisine in Seville.
