Great architecture and decoration. Lovely gardens to walk around. Reasonable cafe. We got the personal Audio guides and found them interesting and well worthwhile. Queues weren’t bad on a Friday in June. (We got there for opening time).

Well worth the visit. The queue can be very long. Can book tickets online but make sure you do this well ahead as they sell out. We arrived 30 mins before opening and joined what was a short queue at this time and waited about 10mins after opening for entry. The gardens are magnificent.

We didn’t realise just how bad the queue would be and we dismissed the guide who approached us as we joined the line, offering us a “Skip the Line” tour. Big mistake! Two and a half hours later we finally made it to the ticket office and into the palace.
Just as well we thought it lived up to our expectations and although it was terribly crowded we marvelled at the superb architecture and decorative features.
The cafe was also crowded with not enough tables especially as it was not a particularly nice day and sitting outside unappealing. Still, a must see when in Seville.

First and foremost the architecture of this place is incredible. i am a lover of architecture so i was naturally drawn to this location. pictures do not justify it. MUST SEE. Every room is something to behold you do not get tired of it. I do have to admit the ticketing is a bit of a hassle trying to get everything situated but once your in you completely forget about it.
