“Lovely quaint apartment, great position.”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The apartment is right on the street, so even if you are living the Spanish lifestyle, resting at siesta time, and staying up late there are still a couple of things you might like to know. The street is a major passage up & down to the town centre, and as such foot traffic, scooters and some cars pass by. The locals certainly stay up late and are liable to start an argument or throw a bottle in the street at any hour! The bell tower of the local church is also right next door, however the bell ringing is intermittent, and only in the morning on Sundays! Overview: great location, clean apartment, helpful caretaker (Jamie), but take your earplugs!!!!

The location of the apartment is actually very peaceful considering how close to the centre of Granada it is. Its on a dead end street with very little traffic and there are no bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. That said you may occasionally hear noise from the odd scooter or noisy pedestrian passing by. The church bell only rings once a day to call mass, which is around 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11am on a Sunday.

Superb location couple of minutes uphill to square with several day time bars/restaurants, spent a lovely sunny afternoon here drinking fino, eating tapas & listening to the buskers. Couple of minutes down hill takes you to "little Morocco" & the foot of the Alhambra. Not very suited for people with mobility problems as streets are steep with steps.
Apartment good, old moorish building with central inner courtyard. Both bedrooms good size, bathroom fine but compact, kitchen had everything we needed (although we mainly ate out). Church next door, only rang bells in early evening, you do get the occasional moped passing but otherwise quiet at night.
