Visited Granada for the first time and found it utterly charming. This hotel is perfect in location to nearby attractions and restaurants. We loved the free tea served from 4.30- 6.30 daily - such a lovely touch. We opted not to have breakfast as it seemed that it was a help yourself buffet and for the price, felt that we would have better value in nearby cafes. The hotel is tucked away from the main area and is therefore quiet. Our only gripe really is that, to the stone/ marble flooring, the noise caused by heels is very loud. Aware that the people above us were noisy, I took off my boots as soon as we came into our room to not disturb those below us. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

Beautiful room and very comfortable stay. We made a mistake booking our reservation on the wrong date when I notified the hotel they refused to give me a refund. I was disappointed that they wouldn't work with me especially because it was an extremely busy week and they would have been able to re book it. I don't think it's acceptable to offer to cancel a reservation but keep you money. Also the hotel advertises breakfast included but when you arrive there is an added charge for breakfast .

Room Tip: We were put in the handicap room right by the front door so ask to not be put in this room unless you need it

This hotel is on a side street just off the main square so easy to walk everywhere, but you feel a sense of calm as soon as you enter the hotel. It is really quite lovely. The breakfast, included in our stay, was delicious. The afternoon tea an added bonus!

This hidden gem of a hotel is a short walk from most of the city's key sights and attractions but tucked away from the bustle and traffic so you'll hardly notice you're in the city centre when you don't want to be disturbed by city noise. We opted for a junior suite which over-looked the central courtyard and was spacious and comfortable. But being early March, the air-con wasn't on so it was a little on the warm side. Free afternoon tea was a nice added bonus and the staff could not have been more helpful. Would definitely consider this hotel for our next Granada visit.

Stayed three nights in this hotel which has a great location in the old town. We were welcomed by lovely staff and were very pleased to find a bottle of cava in our room for my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere in the hotel is tranquil and the character of the building very unique. We enjoyed the breakfasts and complimentary afternoon tea was a treat on two wet afternoons. Granada is a lovely historic city and Casa 1800 made our visit even more special. No complaints.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 17 which was quiet although it might be claustrophobic in warmer weather as it is small (but very quaint).
