“Great Stay for Retreat”
Reviewed 12 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We had a team meeting with 7 partners from 5 countries + another 2 family members.
The retreat turned out great. The atmosphere lent itself to really intimate discussions and team building, and family members not involved with the meeting enjoyed their stay just as well.
Rooms were spacious and adequate, and we all loved the country feeling. Drawers were a bit creaky though - I was afraid that I would wake everyone up every time I opened a drawer in the bedroom.
Kitchen was just remodelled and had everything you would need. The old pot-bellied stove in the lobby provided nice comfortable warmth on the cold nights.
We had the housekeeper Gisella cook for us everyday, and she did a wonderful job. She provided the quality and variety of local dishes we were looking for, at the convenience of eating at home, for a lower total cost than having us all make the trip to a restaurant somewhere.
The surrounding environment is fantastic. We had nice long walks almost daily, and the quietness of the area was refreshing, especially for a city-person like myself.
Since we stayed during an off-season week, the cost was amazingly low.

The owner is really responsive. Emails always replied within same day, and all arrangements made easy.

Really great stay. Hope to find a reason to come back (its a bit big for just my small family alone).

“Quiet, authentic retreat”

The house was wonderful - large with amazing views. My business partners & I rented the villa for a week. There were many bedrooms for us & lots of different rooms for working, I liked the mill room with the olive presses.

Eating on the patio in November was one of the highlights, but the best was Gizella's cooking. We hired her thru the owner. She bought groceries & cooked us breakfast & lunch eat day. We had leftovers for supper. There were 2 of us with unique diets (1 vegetarian & 1 gluten & dairy free) and she did an amazing job cooking delicious & healthy meals.

The house is charming with interesting rooms & different levels. Great for a large crowd.

Driving instructions were very clear to the house.

The road up the side of the mountain was narrow and steep, so we usually stayed off it at night. We were the only house on the road so there was no fear of meeting someone coming the other direction.

The steps up to the pool don't look very daunting from the photos, but there were lots of them - glad I didn't sleep up there.

I would recommend this quiet villa to others if you want to get away from the noise of the city and enjoy some time together.

“Excellent villa. Ideal location for a large group”
Reviewed 4 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Having just returned from a 10 day holiday at Las Adelfas we all wanted to report what a fantastic holiday we all had.
We are a family group of 13 with ages from 4 to 70+. The villa suited all and the facilities were great. There is a very rustic country feeling to the villa and we all enjoyed its remoteness and the peace and quite. Although you get the feeling of isolation it's only 20 min into Malaga.
The pool was great and well cared for. There are some step steps to the pool area however the views are wonderful.
We would all recommend the villa and consider ourselves to be very fortunate to have stayed and enjoyed our holiday.

“Rural hideout with great value”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We have enjoyed a may week at this lovely farm house, celebrating a family birthday. The estate is truly beautiful, featuring walks in stunning surroundings. The house is spacious and well equipped, well cleaned and with a touch of genuine spain. The pool area is fantastic, as well as the outdoor areas for dining. Note that the road is somewhat rough the last km. Thanks for a great vacation!

“Reuniting with family and the beauty of Andalucia”
Reviewed 15 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

This was my second extended trip to Malaga coast area in decade, but this time rather than tooling all around in my little mazda mx5, I stayed put at Graham Brown's beautiful, restored mill. Why go anywhere else with all the amenities he's packed into the place. I loved (in no particular order) comfy beds, the view of the mountains from patio/poolside, well kitted out kitchen, walks up in the hills and a friendly and helpful housekeeper (english speaking). Unfortunately, it wasn't quite warm enough to swim in pool (except once after a nice bottle of tinto). On the flipside, the weather was perfect for cozy nights in by the fire.
