Absolutely friendly service and excellent finger (tapas) food. Cold pork and salad with chicken are "must try" choices.

We called in here for lunch while spending the day in Cadiz. We just took it on chance and were very pleased. The menu was more diverse with some briader options than straight tapas style. Salads and meals were very good and prices reasonable. Service was great with friendly staff and decor/ambience of the restaurant was very good. A great find.

The modernist decor makes this place stand out from many others. Unfortunately, so too does the volume level of the music.
The food is fine. Between the two of us we went through scrambled eggs, potato sticks, shrimp with asparagus, potato salad with leek and prawn, smoked tuna and lamb and aubergine lasagne. Dessert of Pecan Pie and chocolate cake was also good.
Somehow though, it all seemed a bit rushed and not really a place to linger over a few drinks. Perhaps I am a bit too old-fashioned.

Stopped earlier in the day to look it over. Clean, modern, with an eclectic menu. Came back for dinner a few hours later and had a very nice experience. From my vantage point. I could see into the kitchen and the staff was very professional. The different plates of food looked delicious. My food order was done nicely. The wait staff were friendly and social. Good selection of wines and beer.

We visited on the Sunday night of Carnaval. El Jardin already had a limited menu because of this. When we arrived we were told that most dishes were sold out. This then caused friction on our table as people wanted to leave straight away but I persuaded them to stay as we had just ordered a bottle of wine. We ordered some bits to go with the wine but as soon as that was finished we went somewhere else to have a proper meal. I understand it was El Jardin’s first Carnaval so hopefully they have learn’t that they need more food especially as we had booked!!! It just didn’t look good at all. Hopefully we’ll be able to go back one day.
