This is close to the parador de Azuhara in Cordoba. Easy to park outside, lovely welcoming ambience. Sergio , the maitre d’ could not have been more helpful and translating where necessary. We had a really interesting and rich dish with squid ravioli as starter. A lamb dish and a suckling pig dish were declared excellent and I had a prawn pasta dish with a fascinating phenomenon of transparent tuna shavings on my dish crumpling once the cover removed. Extensive wine selection but we were happy with a rich Rioja. We were too full for dessert but were given complimentary cafe con leche- overall we enjoyed El Envero very much and would highly recommend it
