I' ve been here with my husband for a dinner and in the next days in many other hours.
Very good location in the middle of the principal Essen's square.
The entire menù is written in Italian (with many errors like "porco" instead of "maiale"). Very few dishes are really italian but there is some very similar. I ate a good "caprese" with a fresh mozzarella (fiordilatte) and good tomato. They make also a good pizza, more similar to the Rome's type but good taste. At first I thought there was some ketchup in the tomato' s sauce but trying their fresh tomatoes in the "caprese" I understood that is a particular taste of it. Not the best pizza in the world but one of the best in Essen. Good Italian wine.
Obviously no one talks Italian, just a few talks English but they are kind and courtesy. Avoid to go when is full due to an extremely slow service.
