Nice large and clean rooms . Nice view to the old town and just few blocks away from the old city and harbor. Breakfast was included in the price but not really varied . After three days you end up craving for something else . Front desk personnel a bit rude and seemed annoyed when asked questions about tourist landmarks to visit. They should be grateful we dare to stay and spend money in a hotel despite the current COVID situation!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your rating of your last stay in our house.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and again we regret that the staff at the reception left the impression that you are not welcome. This is not our standard and we would like to apologize to you for this.

With best regards from the UNESCO World Heritage City of Stralsund, your team from HOTEL BALTIC STRALSUND & your Nicole Salbrecht.

The hotel is very easy to reach, in walking distance from the town centre. The staff were friendly but also reluctant to speak English even though English is listed as one of the languages spoken. The room was clean, furnished practically and had a nice view over the town. We deduct one star for the ridiculous prices for parking and the breakfast.

Dear Guest,

Nice that we were able to welcome you as a guest at the arcona HOTEL BALTIC and that you have found in us the ideal starting point for a short trip to Stralsund. In fact, it is only a few steps from us to the old town of Stralsund and the harbor. We are very pleased that you find our hotel very pleasant. Thank you for your great feedback.

we stayed here with our friends and we liked and enjoyed in generally. The staff is gentle and helpful. there was parking lot in there and it is one of advantages at hotel. Hotel is close to old town maybe 15 minutes by walking. The rooms are also nice. But rooms should be strengthened with few details

Stayed at this hotel one night. Parking is free and there were plenty of parking lots available in the garage. We decided not to go for the breakfast as 17 EUR per person is a little bit over the edge. In the old town you can easily get half that price. Rooms are clean and the beds are really good.

Situated close but not in the city centre this is a fairly average hotel for its type. Rooms are reasonably well furnished but lack those little extras (eg toiletries) that you come to expect of better hotels. Our room had a pleasant view looking south - the only problem being that at night you had to chose between a stuffy room or a noisy room as there is no air conditioning.
Staff are friendly but not all are particularly customer focused.
Not set in a good area the surrounding streets are not appealing at night.
Having asked for a clothes iron we were not impressed to find that the ONE iron was already out to another room and therefore not available (our previous hotel had one per room).
The hotel caters for groups and this means catering is mostly typical mass catering - alright if you like that type of thing. We prefer to avoid meal time scrums.
Ps Bottled water is ridiculously expensive.

Dear John D,

Thank you for your rating for your stay in our house. We are happy to pass on the praise to our employees and we are glad that you liked it on the whole. Unfortunately, in a hotel with 132 rooms, it is not possible to hold an iron for each room, but I would like to pass on the information that we have two additional irons for such a case as to get out of your way. In Germany, air conditioning in the rooms are not standard, we would like to have brought on request a fan in your room to the temperatures at night more bearable. Next year, extensive building work will take place in the hotel, in this breath will probably be installed in the rooms also air conditioning.

We would like to welcome you once again in our arcona HOTEL BALTIC and wish you all the best until then. With best wishes from the UNESCO World Heritage City Stralsund, your team from the arcona HOTEL BALTIC & your Nicole Salbrecht.
