This market is really long running between 2 railways stations with lots of food, clothing, shoes, junk jewellery etc stalls. The only criticism is that there are no little bars as in other European markets to allow you to watch the world go by over a drink, but there is a nice bar at Eppendorfer Baum.

The market is underneath the subway viaduct between the stations Hoheluft and Eppendorfer Baum. Maybe the longest market in Germany.
You find the plain normal Turkish fruit dealers that get their stocks from wholesale market. And you find the farmers, some of them eco, with their things. Crops of unusual colors. Tomatoes of every color, radish in blue and yellow, mangold in yellow and red, etc, etc. There's also herbs, spices, flowers, plants, eggs, meat and different eateries.
You'll find lots of pictures to take and things to try. Go there.

The Isemarkt is one of the longest markets I've been to. Apart from that and being underneath one of Hamburgs Metro lines, it's just a regular market. You can get food, flowers and everything else you'd expect on a market. ;)

If you've seen everything else Hamburg has to offer, you can pay Isemarkt a visit. But imho it's not worth prioritizing it over other attractions ;)

Isemarkt is worth a visit when going to this area of Hamburg. It is a big market underneath the railroad. Groceries, cheese, handcraft, bakeries etc. I think i walked for about 10 minutes from one end to another.
Vivid and a lot of people.

I visited the market on a Tuesday morning. I believe its also open on either Saturday or Sunday. Check first before you go. The market is very easy to find as its right below the subway tracks. There are stalls for everything. Locals go there to buy vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood. For visitors, there are various stalls where you can order cooked food to be eaten there or to bring to the home. There are also cafes, delis where you can get all sorts of seafood salads, fruit juice stands, pickle stands, bakeries etc. When I was there in April, I even saw lots of white asparagus! I had a latte and croissant at one of the cafes, and bought a bunch of salads (herring, gravlax, krabben/tiny shrimp) to bring back to the hotel.
