“Good music, hard to find a seat, entry fee, great views”

The music was great here and really added to the outdoor vibe. We went on a sunny and warm Saturday afternoon so could see clear panoramic views across Berlin. We found a table and chairs within about 10 minutes of waiting around, but were lucky as it was quite busy and lots of people hovering to jump onto tables if anyone got up.

€3 entry fee which was a surprise as many other roof bars similar are free, however you do get stamped so if you wanted to come back later for sunset you guarantee yourself free re-entry.

A lot of people had trouble finding this place, although once you get to the general area, and you know it's within a shopping centre, the signs are pretty self explanatory.

Drinks menu was ok, we were drinking Aperol Spritz which suited us but the beer menu was limited. Overall, great to hang with friends in the afternoon before heading to dinner.

Thank Claire S

Like ths title says: decent views and that's it. It was difficult to find and if you're not planning on drinking alcohol your choices of beverages are limited. The staff are eccentric and sometimes quite rude and my friend slipped on the wet decking. It's good to go to to cross off the list but I wouldn't hurry back.

We were recommended this place by a local, & while it’s right next to a tube station we jumped a cab (25mins from the centre).
It’s on the roof of a shopping centre & car park, which sounds rubbish but it isn’t - a couple of bars in a very relaxed setting with great views over the City & gentle sounds while the sunsets.
Very chilled, we spent a couple of hours here & could have spent a few more. Well worth the cab to watch the sun go down, tho beat you get here early to get a table (6ish?), we arrived 7.30 & all were taken. By the time we left (9.30) there was a huge queue to get in (€5 a head by the way)
Very pleasant, great cocktails & beers

Had a weird experience here. Not sure if my girlfriend or I did anything wrong but we were basically ignored at the bar when we were trying to get drinks. There was a point where a bartender came over looked at us then looked away and went to help someone else. Not sure if they don’t like serving drinks to asians or Americans or both but this made us feel like we were in the wrong place. Avoid if you can, there’s no need for this type of behavior in the 21st century.

We had a helluva time finding out how to get up there from off the street, but it was worth it. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and stayed a few hours longer than planned. Very cool, eclectic garden/bar space with an incredible 360 view of Berlin. Reminiscent of the ruin bars of Budapest. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Berlin!
