We were traveling on the romantic road without hotel reservations (yikes) and after numerous no vacancies found this place just before they were ready to close. We were able to get two rooms for one night. My wife and I had a larger room and it was very large by European standards. (Plenty of room to spread out). We arrived the evening of the Germany Brazil game and enjoyed watching that across the street at a cafe. I will rank the noise level as low because I am certain the jubilation after the 7-1 win was not the norm but it was fun to watch.

The restaurant closed early but we had a key to get in the side door.

Rooms were super clean, bathroom was nice and breakfast was good. We were on our way to Rothenburg but wish we had planned more time to investigate this little town. If we make it back, we will stay here.

Room Tip: The room we had faced the main street. I didn't see any elevators. Parking is free but it seems like you have to move the car by 10 AM to somewhere else. We left before then so I didn't inquire as to where to park.

This inn is in the quaint 'old town'. The location is great with free overnight parking nearby. The people that ran the inn were very friendly. The room was fine, not great, but fine. The bathroom definitely looked like it had been added in the last 20 years. It was small, but doable. There was a beverage machine in the hallway. Because the Altstadt (old town) is pretty small everything was accessible on foot. There were a couple decent restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good - typical German fare.
