Booked this hotel because it's only a 5 minute walk to the 'Messe'.
The only food available in the evening is a selection of pizzas.
The bar is reasonably priced.
Breakfast buffet is very good - a wide selection to choose from.
The room was comfortable enough, with a mini-bar if you're desperate!
All in all, a reasonable hotel for the price.

Dear MickC115,

Thank you very much for rating your stay. As a bed&breakfast hotel we do not have a restaurant or a large kitchen. As a additional service to guests who arrive late we do offer some pizzas. We are a little disappointed that you rated us 3 of 5 because of that service, but it is nice to hear that you liked everything else while staying with us.
We would be glad to welcome you again and send best regards,
your Arvena Messe team

Very well situated for going to the DTM F3 at the Norisring only 25 mins walk to the track. Rooms were clean, large, had a fridge, internet access, friendly staff, a bar and a great breakfast buffet which we really enjoyed before heading off to the race track.

The only gripe is they could do with serving an evening meal as there's not much about to get dinner from, other than that it's a very good hotel.

Dear Fergus H.,

Thank you very much for this lovely review which we appreciate alot. It ist great to hear that you enjoyed your stay that much. As a bed and breakfast hotel we unfortunately do not offer dinner - unfortuantely there are not enough capacities, f.e. a large kitchen, to offer dinner or lunch. Our reception team will gladly recommend restaurants nearby.

We hope to see you again next year and send best regards from Nuremberg,
your Arvena Messe team

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the "Messe" or Conference Centre. All in all everything was okay, just we had a problem with the noise levels. The walls are very thin, and the rooms are definitely not sound-proof. One can hear every word clearly from talking guests walking along the passages, or laughter from people outside. If the hotel is busy or full, then there's no peaceful night's sleep for you, sorry, especially if your room is next to the lift/elevator. This area is also where Housekeeping places their trollies, buckets etc. One morning we were woken by a non-stop conversation just outside our door, and when we looked, there were two ladies sitting opposite each other on the chairs next to the lift. They were from Housekeeping. This was around 8:30am. The next morning we hoped for a sleep-in, at least until 9am, but it was not to be. Housekeeping were vacuuming the room next to or opposite to ours, with the door open and hitting/banging the vacuum cleaner against the walls...very very loud. This was way before 8:00am!! After a restless and noisy night, this was just the cherry on the top. A "Do-not-Disturb" sign hanging outside your door is useless...

Our room was big enough for two people, and clean, but could have done with a bit of airing. Beds were comfy and bathroom tidy and fresh. The buffet breakfast had everything we liked and the hot/cold foods were always topped up regularly. The price of 10 euros per person is justified. The breakfast room has a lovely atmosphere too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Dear Esmello H,

Thank you very much for giving us feedback on your stay. It is great to hear that you enjoyed breakfast, location and services as well as the price performance ratio.

Please accept our apology concerning the noise level. Our housekeeping employees are instructed to leave the room doors open while cleaning so the guest can easily see what is going on and does not get frightened when entering the room. We will talk to our housekeeping personnel, however, and sensitize them to noise issues.

Maybe you will give us a chance to prove we can do better – we would really appreciate it and look forward to welcoming you again.

Best regards,
Kerstin Lutz & the Arvena Messe team

The hotel is perfectly positioned next to the conference centre, but there is nothing else nearby.
There is no evening meal option in the hotel and no restaurants within a couple of miles, so if you don't have a car, it is a decent walk, or a trip to the nearest Netto.
The hotel was clean and the breakfast was perfect, with lots of choice, including hot food.

The hotel is missing a trick, they could easily become a little bistro destination in the evenings if they wanted.

Hotel location is perfect for any activity associated with the convention center as it is directly across the street & can be walked to. For a European style hotel the rooms are very clean & well maintained, but, very small by American standards. The soundproofing is not the best; could hear neighbor talking on telephone late at night & anyone going in/out the door to the stairwell as it bangs very loudly at 2 am.
Breakfast is very good, well managed. The staff is very courteous & helpful. Several recommendations. They only offer breakfast. You need to find other restaurants for lunch/dinner. On Sunday's most are closed with the exception of a small pizza place roughly 10minute walk away. Most of the restaurants nearby do not take credit cards, nor do most the cabs so plan on bringing Euros. The hotel did not provide currency exchange

The WIFI works well in the rooms which helps with work.

Something that would help greatly for the non German visitors would be maps to local restaurants in local language, particularly with all the major convention business they get. I would recommend staying again..

Dear rhhjch,
Thank you very much for your detailed review about your stay which I am sure is helpful especially to our American guests. Your praises about our service team and the breakfast makes us very proud.
Your request for an English map with local restaurants is very helpful to us, we will implement that feature as soon as we get the chance.
You are writing that we do not provide currency exchange and I am a little puzzled because we actually do – did you ask our staff members for that manner? We are always pleased to help you out.
Dear rhhich, we would be delighted to welcome you again! Best regards from Nuremberg,
