Best seen in the evening light when it catches the setting sun. Also less crowded then, allowing you to enjoy it.

This is found in the old town square you can't miss if you are walking up to the castle you have to pass this attraction.
People make a wish here there is a ring attached to the fencing and if you stand back and watch they turn a brass ring while they make a wish.I have personally given this a run for its money making several wishes over the years.

Interesting part of the main square, though often very crowded around it. Worth taking the time to look at this whilst visiting the square.

We were here in December for the Christkindlemarkt and the guilded fountain was decorated for Christmas. There were booths surrounding it so you couldn't get up close to spin the ring but is was so beautiful and so different from anything I have ever seen.
