Great location, clean, modern rooms, helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, and really good water pressure in the shower (kind of a rarity in Europe in my experience). I would be very happy if every European hotel was as nice as this one.

Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful staff from recommending restaurants to supplying extra pillows. Free mini bar in the room was a nice touch and the breakfast was excellent.
5 minutes to main station and a 15 minute walk into the centre of the city

Room Tip: Room 310 was quiet and a good size

We stayed at Schiller5 Hotel for 3 days and we liked it a lot. Their modern and beautiful elevator has a real nice light show that plays on the mirrors. Good sized room, kitchenette with grill/microwave and all kitchenware necessary to prepare small dishes. Everything very quiet, clean and working perfectly. Delicious breakfast with nice selection of cold/hot items. The staff is great: very professional, accommodating and very kind. The owner of this hotel, always present during the breakfast is a gentleman who really cares about the comfort of all guests.
The location is central for lots of shopping, supermarkets, sightseeing and close to the main train station, everything in walking distance.
The strip club in the neighborhood is a little intimidating, but all the benefits of this hotel are superior to this minor inconvenience.
We certainly would like to come back to Schiller5 Hotel.

So this is not quite a luxury hotel in the classic sense, but it is a chic and modern small hotel. Rooms are modern and nice and quite spacious (I have to admit I had a superior room). No complaints at all. Breakfast was fine as well, nice wide selection.
Hotel is located a few hundred yards from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) so is very convenient to public transportation. But it's an easy walk into the old part of town, 10 or 15 minutes. I never used public transit except to go to the airport.
Be forewarned though that the hotel is right on the edge of the old red light district. I still felt very safe but if you go one direction on Schillerstrasse it gets pretty seedy. The other direction hits the bahnhof and lots of high end hotels around. So it's perfectly safe but if you are very sensitive to "seedy" on the street then you might think otherwise.

Clean room with a nice view of the downtown street. Location was perfect to get to the metro as well as walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff was accommodating. and friendly. Room included minibar drinks such as beer, soda, water and juice. Everything was clean even with microwave, refrig, small stove, and dishes (nice and compact). Very friendly owner who visited during breakfast. Very welcoming ~

I'll stay here again when I visit Munich.
