Many philosophers used this path to get inspiration. I’m sure they already lived uphill. It’s the best view from Heidelberg, the Neckar river, the old bridge and the castle, but it has quite an inclination in some areas. Make sure you’re wearing comfy shoes. I recommend to start from the Theodor-Heuss bridge, you’ll have the stairs to go down near the “Alte Brücke”
