Found this Hotel through Small Luxury Hotels. Stayed for a special weekend. Hotel is in an historic manor house decor and fit out is very quaint. Our room on the second floor was well appointed and fitted the feel of the hotel. Marvellous in room Spa and separate bathroom with shower. Nice views to the rear private garden. Mini bar and sitting area. No tea & coffee facilities in room. Breakfast room and sitting room with fire place, excellent. Tea and cakes included in the afternoons. Breakfast spread good very European you can order omelettes or fried eggs from a menu also at no extra charge. Staff very professional and welcoming. Appreciated champagne service at any time for our celebration. Outside the hotel do not miss wonderful walks along the riverside gardens the pedestrian area of the town centre and do the Roman / Irish bathing spa house. Thanks Belle Époque for being the right place to stay in beautiful Baden Baden.

Dear happy Guest,

Thank you for giving us such a perfect rating.

I am so glad to hear that you chose to celebrate your special occasion with us and that our hotel including our staff were instrumental to make it a memorable one. We do take pride in always catering to our guests’ needs the best way we can.

Nice to hear, that you found hotel BELLE EPOQUE through “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” because we are one of the first small luxury hotels in Germany!

Regarding the missing tea & coffee facilities in the rooms, we have decided that it doesn’t fit to the décor and tradition of our hotel. We gladly offer room service to our guests at any time.

Thank you again for your kind words. We hope to be part of your future trips to Germany.

Best regards and a joyful Christmas Season.

Double room in the annexe to this old private house in the centre of Baden Baden. Room was pleasant with all the facilities you would expect from a quality hotel. Service and attention was just right - not too intrusive yet not too distant.
Location is a walk from the centre for the opera/baths/etc etc.
Not a cheap town to stay/eat/drink in but jolly comfortable. Has the feel of a luxury country hotel right slap in the middle of town. Strange that in a spa town it did not have spa facilities.

Dear Traveler,

Thank you for your positive review and for choosing our hotel BELLE EPOQUE during your visit. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that our staff made it a pleasant one. Our hotel location is one of the things we are very proud of; close to all main attractions in town.

Concerning the missing SPA you mentioned, Baden-Baden is well-known as a traditional SPA town since the Roman Era and our hotel guests from all over the world come to us in order to visit the famous Caracalla Thermal Baths or the Roman Irish Baths right in the city centre. I hope you were able to explore this area? Unfortunately a small hotel of our size would never be able to compete with the great SPA facilities that Baden-Baden has to offer.

Again thank you for your kind comments and hope to see you again in the future!

Sincerely,
Monja Rademacher

What a beautiful little hotel in beautiful surroundings. Belle Époque actually means the grand period in time between 1870 and 1914 ( the start of WW1) and the hotel mirrors those lovely grand old days. We were able to park right outside the entrance and the friendly willing staff took care of getting our luggage out and checkin was swift. Our room had been upgraded free of charge which was nice and luckily we were on the ground floor as there is no elevator. Tea/coffee and scrumptious cakes are served in the cosy lounge or the patio in the beautiful garden every day between 2.30 and 5pm ( included in the room rate) although we noticed that the times were very relaxed for residents and they were only too happy to stretch the 5pm deadline. Our room the junior suite, was very nicely furnished with what looked like antique pieces and more than comfortable - the bathroom was on the small side though and we did have to maneuvere around one another. Breakfast was included and was okay, we could always find something to tempt us. After breakfast it was nice to sit in the lovely little lounge and have a cup of coffee so that we could use the wifi. The signal is not good in the rooms. The hotel is centrally placed with an easy walk into the town centre.

Room Tip: room 115 is on the ground floor so no need to lug suitcases up the stairs. Pretty and private.

Thank you very much for your approval as well as your positive review. We are pleased to hear, that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and we would be glad to welcome you again in Baden-Baden! Only for your information for further stays: we actually do have an elevator in our dependence, just not in the main building because of landmark reasons.

We were in Baden Baden one night and picked this beautiful hotel after reading the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Although we had booked a deluxe double, we were upgraded to a junior suite which was spectacular. The room appointments were beautiful; the attention to detail was outstanding. The room was immaculate and the service was top notch. The breakfast was excellent (and the best we had in Germany all week). After breakfast we sat in the living room for about 30 minutes -- I could have spent hours enjoying the fireplace, furnishings and outstanding view of the gardens. We look forward to going back to this beautiful city and again staying at this wonderful hotel.
