“Excellent vacation rental”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed in this beautiful apartment at the end of June. It is such a nice and clean place. We were two couples and it was plenty of space for us. The apartment had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable - perfect for relaxation after long hikes. It was also helpful to have a washer/dryer. Most of all, we loved having meals on the porch while looking at amazing views of Mont Blanc. We loved the place and will definitely return there.

“A magical place...”

Only been two nights since we left La Bossonade and our memories of the place are fantastic. We arrived Saturday, late afternoon and like an excited child at Christmas I woke early, early enough to see the sun rise over the mountains illuminating Aguille Du Midi and Mont Blanc. This moment was perfect and pretty much sums up our stay there as there was rarely a moment when I wasn't in awe of the areas beauty and magic. Anyway back to the accommodation, a gorgeous apartment, one which both Kas and I adored and are so very envious of. Everything you could need was provided, the layout of the kitchen and living area is great and the bedrooms are very relaxing and comfortable. As for the location, well right behind you, five minutes walk in fact is the Petit Balcon Sud and facing you is Mont Blanc itself with the Aguille Du Midi. Chamonix proper is a short walk away, long enough to appreciate the environment and beauty of the area but not too far to feel isolated. In a word, perfect, and yes we'll be back.

“Very comfortable”

The flat was easy to find, the route description was perfect, and plenty of parking space in front and next to the flat. The accommodation was altogether very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay with two adults and a child, and a third adult for the last two days. The beds were extremely comfortable (non allergic duvets a plus!) and the shower had great water pressure, the bath/ shower combination was very luxurious. We never missed the tv and wifi signal was good. The kitchen was very complete which was great for us – thanks also for leaving out the wine, bread and milk. The personal welcome note from Kath on the blackboard was very kind. Access to central Chamonix was very easy and it took less than 5 minutes to drive there

“Perfect apartment with stunning views of Mont Blanc”
Reviewed 23 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Stayed for 6 days at the end of August to take part in the UTMB ultra marathon with a few friends. We didn't want to stay in the centre of Chamonix as it can be quite hectic and noisy, especially over the race weekend, so decided Les Bossons and in particular La Bossonade would fit the bill. It worked out perfectly as it's only a 5 min drive, 20 min walk and 10 mins on the SNCF train as the train station just down the road. It meant we had options!!

The apartment was spacious, very well kept and clean. A welcome bottle of wine from the owners was a nice surprise.

As the previous reviewers said, it's great that they have no TV so you can relax with some board games or a book whilst chatting over the days activities. The wifi was fast and useful for some local research and checking the weather forecast before the looming race (thankfully blue skies for the entire w/e!).

The terrace is a real bonus and meant whenever possible we'd eat outside and make the most of the sunshine and views which never got tiring.

Can't recommend it enough and am sure we'll be back in the Winter next year.

Ps. Kat the property manager made our checkin / checkout seamless so thanks to her also.

“Excellent accommodation in a quiet location in Chamonix Valley”
Reviewed 18 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed here for 1 week and were really pleased with the accommodation. The apartment is furnished to a really high standard and has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely open plan seating and dining area. There is secure storage below the apartment where we stored our bikes.

We were met by a lovely lady who explained where everything was in the apartment and gave us lots of information about the area. She is nearby so can be contacted if we needed anything, which was reassuring.

It is located in a quiet village not far from Chamonix and you can catch the free train which travels along the valley floor to Chamonix (approx 10 mins). The train station is very close to the apartment and our children loved looking out for the train from the balcony!

Although there is no TV there is free WiFi in the apartment which we found was much more useful and it was really nice not to have a TV for a week!

There are lots of mountain bike tracks to ride although we did a few rides along the valley floor. Catching the cable car to Aiguille du Midi was brilliant! It is expensive to go and a better deal is to get a multiday pass which allows you to to use this and many other cable cars and trams etc in the valley. We would recommend the walk from the first cable car station to Glace du Mer and then catching the train down.

Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby.

Really enjoyed our week here and there was lots to do for all of us. We would definitely go again!
