“Fabulous place to stay in Chamonix”
Reviewed 1 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

I was taken by surprise on how clean and modern this place actually look when we arrived. Our group consist of 3 families (6 adults and 5 children) and there were plenty of space in the chalet for all of us to use. The washing machine was so easy to operate. There is a bathroom in every single room. The kitchen is well equipped to cook simple meals. It would have been great if the kitchen had the basic ingredients such as oil, salt and pepper stocked up. The owner explained that they couldn't stock up these items in the kitchen for hygienic reason. However, since we are only staying there for a short while, it was a big waste for us to have to make new purchase of salt and pepper and then had to throw them out when we couldn't consume them during our stay.

“Fabulous chalet rental”
Reviewed 20 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This is a lovely house with five bedrooms all with en-suites. The furnishings throughout are high quality with the most comfortable beds with luxury bedding I have ever slept on. The dressing gowns and slippers provided were a special added touch; these came in very handy when nipping to and from the hot tub. The hot tub is fab, what a luxury in the snow! The kitchen is equipped with every utensil you need if you wanted to cook a meal. Chamonix itself has so many good restaurants you don't need to cook. The microbrewery just up the road is a friendly pub too close not to call into on your way home from a day's skiiing. Middle floor rooms have a balcony with fabulous views across the mountains. The loft room enables you to lie in bed and look up at the mountains. The house has wifi throughout so the younger members of the group were happy with that. TV's in every room all have English, like a home from home. It really did feel like home by the end of the week.

The owner Jayne is very helpful and patient providing all the info you need for your stay and answering any questions you may have. I would recommend this chalet for anyone wanting a house to accomodate a group of up to 10.

The only donwnside was the smell from the shower drains in the basement rooms, not nice but I'm sure this will be addressed.

“Wonderful location and views”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Superbly located within easy walking distance to the town of Chamonix, with it's bars, restaurants and shops.
The chalet was really well equipped with comfortable beds and every room has en-suite facilities. In addition, the property has an outside hot tub, which is screened from the neighbours.

“Beautiful chalet with excellent views.”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

An excellent holiday at Chalet Cristalliers. Good quality comfortable furniture and fittings. Ample matching crockery and cutlery. Wonderful views from the lounge and upstairs bedrooms, which were good sized, with very comfortable beds, luxury bedding and well fitted out.
An easy walk into town via the micro brewery at the end of the road and a short distance to the bread chalet just around the corner.
Loved the hot tub with breathtaking views of the Aiguille du Midi and the mountain range. Bliss!
Highly recommend this chalet.

“Great chalet, great host, a bit of affordable luxury!”
Reviewed 12 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

A group of eleven of us stayed in this chalet and had a wonderful week skiing, eating, drinking and hot tubbing!
Jayne, the owner, made my job as organiser very easy as she was very quick and very helpful with her responses. We had one issue with the heating which was sorted out immediately.

The chalet easily accommodated the eleven of us with one person sleeping on a good quality inflatable bed in one of the bedrooms. We took it in turns to cook and found the kitchen well stocked and practical. It was impossible to get more than two or three in the kitchen at one time due to its shape and size but this was a perfect excuse to sit on the sofa and wait to be served!!

I would recommend this chalet to anyone. We had a great week.
