This gem is tucked away in a small street a block back from the harbour but many of its rooms overlook the harbour and from the windows you can watch the small fishing boats come in with their catch in the morning!

It’s in an unbeatable location, it has the BEST bar with superb half-moon style windows that look out over the harbour!

Lovely people, lovely stylish decor, very clean and pleasant with comfortable beds and bathrooms, with a bath as well as a separate shower ...

Enjoy Marseille from here!

My friend and I chose the Grand Hotel Beauvau because of its location, view, and reviews on TripAdvisor. We were concerned of the language barrier, but had very little to no problem. Always someone English speaking on staff. Our junior suite with port view and balcony was most enjoyable. Rooms were very clean and appointed well. The lobby and common areas were decorated nicely and welcoming. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding every morning and what a view to start the day! The hotel bar was an excellent way to wind down the day and relax before dinner, again with an awesome view of the Vieux Port. The bartender was exceptionally kind and friendly. We never encountered a staff member who didn’t speak to us or offer to help if needed. Grand Hotel Beauvau was an excellent choice.

We were so glad we booked this hotel. Our room was a lovely 2 story suite overlooking the harbour filled with antiques..great bed. The bathroom was magnificent. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a bakery in the same block for tasty capacinos. Nearby is La Kahena a Tunisian restaurant we highly recommend Wander the historic waterfront.

This old hotel has an excellent central location and is very comfortable and nice. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with all the necessities including bathroom slippers. The cosmetics used are first class.

The breakfast is served on first floor and there is a wide variety of cheeses, hams, nuts and dried fruits, juices, jams and honey as well as good bakery items from different kinds of bread to croissants and crepes.

We arrived at 9.30 from a cruise and were told room was not ready but hopefully by 1pm but definitely 2pm. So we went out and returned at about 12.30. We were told room not ready but they had upgraded us and room would be ready at 2pm. So we waited and waited and waited until 3.30 we went to room. We didn’t like it as it was for a family with bed up a flight of stairs. We then complained and were given the room we had originally booked with a view of the port.
Next morning at breakfast my husband asked for a classic white baguette only to be told no one ever wants that type of bread in France!! Well us British do!! They did however ring some white bread to the table 20 mins later but it was heavy and stodgy not what we really wanted. On the whole I was disappointed with the staff but location was good
