“1 week of studies at the seaside”
Reviewed 24 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The appartment's location couldn't quite be better - close to the sea, the market, shops, bakeries, restaurants, the tram,... (Due to these advantages, it only needs to be taken into account that it may be loud during night time.) The flat is at the first floor of an old house with a pleasant, cool building climate, which I enjoyed a lot. The flat is spacious (for 1 to 3) with a newly renovated bathroom and a well equipped kitchen (which even held a welcome bottle of sparkling wine :) - Monica & Julian are both very friendly, caring and right away at hands, if need be. I do recommend this place.

“Perfect little place in an ideal location”

We stayed here for our first holiday abroad together. This beautiful apartment was situated in the hub of the old town, arms length from a delicious patisserie and about 300m from the beach. Monica and Julian were very helpful before, during and after our stay. The apartment was well stocked with everything we could need and was very clean. we would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting a more 'local' experience in Nice.

“perfect location”
Reviewed 25 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The apartment is clean and compact located a short walk to the beach, the market and tram stop making it most convenient to the train station, bus stops and nearby points of interest.

The hosts are very helpful and provide plenty of information on the local area and resources for enjoying your stay.

The apartment is accurately depicted in the photos provided by the site.

There is an awesome bake shop just down the stairs and each morning you can open the kitchen window and see all the wonderful pastries, bread and goodies for a wonderful breakfast or snack. The prices are incredible and the staff is nice.

Nice is a great place to visit and we hope to visit again in the future.

“Clean compact well appointed apartment.”

This apartment is perfect for a couple. It is a clean, compact, well appointed apartment in the heart of the old town of Nice. There is a baker right next door and the Cours Saleya, with it's colourful daily market is 40 metres away. Good communication with the owner and excellent directions. We were met at the bus stop and taken to the apartment. Any problems were dealt with promptly and pleasantly. We would use this apartment again and would certainly recommend it.

Management Response

Thanks a lot for your review. We do our best to allow our tourists to feel like at home. Due to our main job sometimes we are not able (like in this case) to receive personally our guests but we know that our friends who help us in those occasions replace us in the best ways. Thanks again for coming here!!! M. and J.

“A little gem right in the heart of the old town”

We stayed here for a week before Christmas. The apartment is small but contained everything we needed and we were warm, with a very comfortable bed. Don't expect luxury, but simple clean accommodation. Julian met us as arranged at the Cathedral bus stop and escorted us to the appt, which is on the first floor. He made sure we knew where everything was. The water was hot and plentiful and everything worked. We were thoughtfully provided with a 'welcome' bottle of rose wine. He also gave my husband info regarding model railway shops he wanted to visit.
The appt is on a corner of a small crossroad of tiny lanes within old Nice. We could buy fresh croissants from the patisserie next door (We could have called out our order from the kitchen window!) In hot weather the ice cream shop is opposite too. There was always something to watch but with the windows closed noise was not an issue. You are so close to the flower market that you can practically smell the flowers. The beach is very close too as are museums, Place Massena, and the newly remodelled Park Peillon with its spectacular fountains. We really felt part of the local community. The Old Distillery Cafe /bar was very atmospheric and you are spoilt for choice for good food.
Julian arrived 15 minutes early prior to our departure, so no problem getting the airport bus.
No need to hire a car. You can get to so many places by train.
We will definitely be going again.
Thank you Monique and Julian for enabling us to have great break.
