We checked out March 26 after a six night stay. We booked the junior suite with two bathrooms. When we arrived and checked in, no one mentioned that the second washroom was closed off. I had to return to the check in desk to ask about it. When I told the hotel clerk that I would like some sort of compensation since we booked and paid for a room with two washrooms, she assured me she would look into it. Later that day, Danielle let me know I would be receiving a discount of a one night stay when I checked out.
Let me tell you about checking out at 6:45 in the morning: I came down to use to the washroom because my son was having a shower. The male night clerk was using one of the washrooms with the door open. He made no apology as I closed the door on him. When I checked out, he took forever to turn the computer on, couldn’t find my booking and said he didn’t know anything about any credit on my account. “It wasn’t his job; he’s just the night clerk.” He insisted that I pay 18€ for tax, I told him my taxi was waiting and he had my credit card on file. I really wanted to give the hotel a good review but I simply cannot. I paid for something they didn’t provide and then did not honour the agreement to reimburse me. On top of that, the night clerk was completely incompetent dégoulasse using the toilet with the door open. Disgusting. I have now emailed the hotel twice and have been ignored.More
