Surely an interesting museum to visit even though Picasso’s most important artworks are not shown here. However, the audio listening tour is indeed worth. Recommended.

The building was beautiful the view from the terrace was excellent and very atmospheric. There where very interesting statues and everything was displayed in a spacious and tasteful way.
We were charged 3 Euros for entry, which was good value.

From pencil drawings to portraits, to paintings to pottery, the collection was superb. We visited on a quiet weekday morning and savored the uncrowded rooms that allowed us to view what we wished at a leisurely pace. All of the Picassos were a treat for the eyes, but perhaps the finest vision was out a second story window to the beautiful expanse of the blue Mediterranean. We found soaring inspiration seeing the patio courtyard sculptures set against an exquisite seascape. Strolling through this museum seemed to have the same ambiance as strolling through Antibes, itself. There was no big city hustle bustle, but rather a relaxed informality that enhanced this museum experience.

The museum is currently being renovated, and there is an entire floor closed. But there is a very special price of 3Euros So this is of course more than worth a visit.

Short 30 min visit, not Picasso’s best work but being in the space where he created is special. I really enjoyed the pictures of Picasso in the atelier with his paintings, they give true meaning to the space.

The setting and the castle are stunning. We were disappointed that we could not visit one floor due to restoration works. The price of entry was reduced to reflect this. Lots of interesting Picasso drawings, pottery and paintings.
